(2/25/11) - Sitting in Sarita's Grill & Cantina's light and spacious dining room overlooking the Diversion Canal in St. Amant, one can imagine docking a boat, and hopping out for a meal eaten inside or at one of the patio tables overlooking the beach volleyball court. Variety, freshness are key ingredients at Sarita's (Mexican Buffet)
(12/28/07) - Most people often think of Mexican food as Tex-Mex, but within Mexico itself there are many variations of flavorful dishes from the Rio Grande to the tip of Yucatan. Also like the United States, Mexican cuisine is influenced by cooking from other regions, including the Caribbean and Central America. Sarita's Mexican Buffet, a new restaurant on Bennington Avenue, presents a wide variety of Mexican dishes along with popular dishes of El Salvador. While many of the spices are the same, the blend of flavorings are discernibly different. And there's no doubt the food is authentic.
